Privacy Policy

During the beta, BranchMind stores the project titles, prompts, AI responses, node summaries, node positions, timestamps, and related workspace data needed to run the branching conversation experience.

BranchMind may also process basic technical data that your browser and the app send with requests, such as request timing and error context. The beta does not intentionally collect payment details or special categories of personal data.

When you create or continue a project, your prompt, selected source text, and recent conversation context may be sent to the configured AI provider. Requests are routed to the configured AI provider(s) through their chat completions APIs.

AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not include secrets, credentials, regulated records, or information you are not allowed to submit to third-party AI services.

You keep responsibility for the content you enter into BranchMind. Your projects are used to provide the product experience, restore your workspace, generate AI replies, and support export or deletion workflows.

BranchMind does not claim ownership over your prompts or project content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or process that content.

The beta includes per-project JSON export so you can keep a local copy of your project data.

Project deletion removes the selected project from the BranchMind project store. Deletion is intended to be permanent for the beta workspace, although operational backups or logs, if any, may take additional time to expire.

BranchMind uses a small set of first-party cookies to keep the workspace working. No third-party tracking cookies are set.

branchmind_session keeps you signed in and links the app to your account or local workspace session. It is HttpOnly and expires after 1 year.

branchmind-language remembers your interface language preference. It expires after 1 year.

branchmind-theme remembers your interface theme preference. It expires after 1 year.

This page is a practical beta-stage privacy notice for product testing and store review. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production launch in regulated or commercial environments.
